2:50 Catalogs, datasets (from analysis perspective) Joseph Perl doc
  1) Datasets
Datasets on the Grid David Adams ppt
"Event Selection Manager" John Wu ppt
  General discussion on datasets:
Do datasets have interfaces that are common between experiments?
Joseph
  2) Catalogs
Each experiment: please describe your catalog, what's in it, how you use it, what problems you have with it.
Each analysis tool: what do you need from an experiment's catalog?
Straw man "dataset catalog service interface" from CS11.
This is a rough pass at a generic interface that analysis tools such as PROOF, JAS or DIAL could use to get the user the information they want about what datasets are available. Interface supports "file browser type view" and "query type view".
Can we agree on such an interface? How do we get there? What timetable?

5:00pm sharp adjourn
