Certificate/Registration Authority issues in PPDG

The goal of this activity is to promote the implementation of a certificate authority (CA) and a registration authority (RA) which can be used by participants of PPDG, GriPhyN, iVDGL experiments and testbeds. This will satisfy a need to issue x.509 certificates accepted at the relevant computing sites around the US and outside the US, particularly EU-DataGrid sites. This amounts to coordination of certificate and registration authority issues with PPDG, DOE Science Grid and ESnet to establish certificate and registration authorities.
