PPDG Project Reviews

We are holding internal reviews of the PPDG Project activities in order to better understand our progress to date and to help in planning for year 2 of the project.   The review will take the form of a 2-3 hour video or phone conference  which  will be open to the collaboration. The people involved in the review will include the project leaders, 2 reviewers external to the Project Activity,  and the PPDG contacts as identified by http://www.ppdg.net/pa/ppdg-pa/projects.htm. (we will use it as an  opportunity to update/correct  the page also!) The deliverables from the  review will be any written answers from the project leaders to the list of  questions attached (you are welcome to comment on the questions to help us  in this process) and a 1-2 page report from the reviewers sent to the  Steering Committee. It is expected that the reviewers will be up to speed on  the project itself, will have read the documentation you recommend to  them,  and we will be able to proceed without presentations to drive the discussion.

Post Review Comments: The very professional manner in which the reviewers and reviewied alike approached this excercise resulted in a constructive and instructive meetings. The PPDG Executive Team is very appreciative of this commitment by members of the project. Besides many items of detail, an Action List was generated.
